Please help me identify this stamp. I think it's 1874, I know that is extremely rare, but does not know the value. Thank you in advance for your help.

I think it a a Postage Due or tax stamp from Hungary

Actually, this is a regular postage stamp. It is design #A2 in the Scott catalogue. Depending on the perforations and watermarks, it can either be #15, 20 or 25 with sub numbers as well. It was first issued in 1874 and continued on until 1899.

This can be a complex issue and does require research.

Rare no. Value no. Unfortunately, not much left for study as the perforations have been trimmed off the sides.

It's a Scott 15 or 20 (depends on watermark). Looks like rose color and perf 11 1/2 with vertical perfs trimmed off for whatever reason. It's not normally a rarity in that variety anyway.
