Interesting statistics with the 1st quarter of 2015 in for the USPS. Other than the continuing drain for the Postal Service Retiree Health Benefits Fund, revenue is up across the board. Buried in the statistics is that the volume of first class mail (not including packages) only declined 1.1 percent from a year ago. Revenue from first class mail increased.
