Here is a simple, ordinary cover with #179 and #190 (I believe, need to check but it appears to be Die I).

Registered to St Marys in the US (north PA) from small town of Trinity East via St Johns.

(I've also posted a Newfoundland cover under the "Checks" forum--a weird use of Newfoundland #255 on a canceled check from 1945)

Enjoy

Nice tommy...But strange that the back cancel says St.Johns N.F..I thought it would be St.Johns NFLD...

Very nice indeed.
wert, it is NFLD now, but I guess the abbreviation was fluid back then.

And didn't you notice it was stamped NEWF'D on the front of the envelope (in Trinity East)?
Some flyspecker you are!
