This stamp looks like Bothwell paper to me but my Scott catalogue doesn't list it on watermarked paper. I can't find much useful information about the papers on line - seems to be all in books - any links or comments welcome
Thanks for comments everyone. I should have said that I thought the stamp might be Bothwell paper as it has the same diamond pattern visible on the back and also has a vertical mesh/grain. I happen to have a Bothwell 12 1/2c with a portion of the watermark visible and that does appear somewhat thinner now that I look at them together. The scans on Gilles Le Timbre's post are too indistinct for me to make useful comparisons and as I live in New Zealand I am not likely to find Duckworth's book in a library here. Are there any other on-line references to the papers particularly with regards to the mesh that anyone knows.
The five cent Large Queen (#26) was likely a stopgap issue, printed during the Small Queen period, in 1875. A reduction in the rate to Great Britain created a demand for a five cent stamp. A LQ plate, prepared in the 1860s but never used, was put into service. A five cent Small Queen plate was being prepared at this time, and ultimately replaced the LQ in early 1876. The #26 is always found on SQ papers contemporary to the 1875 period; visually the paper is similar to Bothwell Paper but is not the same.
