I am looking for the type (revenue, postage due, etc.) and the year of issue for the stamp shown. I have been unable to find it in Scott Specialized Y2013, but perhaps I just missed it. Thank you in advance.
dlambert ----it is a revenue stamp ,not a Cinderella stamp . The year first issued is 1928 is my guess . I use a scanner to make that picture, there are many readers and people who post stuff here that can answer your questions about posting on the board better than me .
Floortrader: I found one for sale on Stamp World that matches the description - no image - 1928 10c violet, wmk 1, perf 12 and I will go with that. Nothing useful came up in Google, Wikipedia, bidStart or Antonius Ra. Thanks, again.
