The 10k design was used until the 1870s. You need to check the watermark (or iits absence) and paper type to determine which issue it belongs to.

OK. Any thoughts on how to remove properly? Should I wet the stamp before pulling it off?

Be careful as some early Russian Stamps have fugitive inks and will run.

Thanks for the advice Horam. I very carefully pulled the tape off the page with stamps. I am leary to moisten the stamp hinge.

I can definitely see horizontal lay lines on the 10k stamp.
