First off, sorry for the white background, these were recently acquired from the back of a supposed USA stockbook, and are all hinged with scotch tape.

Are these both typographed? The E looks litho by scott's description but the ` looks typo? The 10c looks unused and the cat on the unused litho 10c is outrageous. also, are fakes prevelant?





Also, a bunch of Ceres and Napoleons. It'll take me a while to ID these, I just scanned them for your enjoyment. Probably not going to get to them for a while.

They are both typo. The 10c looks to be a type IIa and the 15c Ib.
There are details in most catalogues on how to identify the various types.

Here's the info from Maury.
It is mentioned somewhere in the catalogue about the usage periods which for the Lithographed 10c was only a few months hence the values given.
The cancel when on cover can affect the value by a factor of 10 or more.
