A US $1 stamp of that period will worth something, but Canadian, not well centered , you can find them for a $1 or $2

Ah! I hope that "crap load" statement is not a reflection on the quality

If I may be permitted to offer some advice... try to post Canada stamps in the Canada sections, US stamps in the USA sections and GB in the GB sections. What you have been doing is the equivalent of showing an item and asking "what is it?" and getting the reply... "a stamp". If you ask for an identification or a value of particular items or ask why a stamp has particular markings, perforation (or lack of)etc in the correct section you will get far better explanations and responses. If in doubt, ask a moderator to assist in placing the "question" etc in the correct section or post in the world section. It is a learning process and many people here will be willing to help you ID and value your stamps, covers.
Keep posting.
