Did some research. County clerk of the peace for elgin county ontario. Also grandfather of farley mowat. Any comments would be great.

The stamps were perforated while in sheet form, prior to their sale to the user, if I understood your question correctly.

I have come across in the access of 200-300. Most on court documents. I'm decrease in the size. And decide in which 20-25 I'm going to keep

I have no idea of their market value. You might find them listed under Canada Revenue stamps on ebay, check the completed auctions, Green means sold.

Keep hem all on the original document. The on piece ones (torn off or cut) you could probably soak. Ask others that specialize in this area for clarification.

As I said in another post, they are Ontario Law Stamps; check on Canada Revenue Stamps web site, they are all there
