And excise tax. I've been coming across a lot of stamps in blocks, mostly on bank and court fourms

I'm kinda new, so I wasn't too sure on the queens.the post mark I mean

What's you question about the cancels? Got a lot of them? I would help if you would seperate them into similar groups.
CDS= Circle Date Stamp, like on the 1939 red and Black comm, bottom left 4th pic.

Numbered squares like the 1st and last 3 cent Queen in the last scan. The numbers represent citys.

Elisipe..2nd 3 cent Queen

Straight bar grids like Queen 3

Targets Queen 4

and any fancy cancel.

The blocks are paying taxes on the documents they're on.

If you crop your photos to just what you want to show, and remove all that background, you'll be able to post larger pics.
