Hi guys...Take a look at this Air Canada 50th anniversary stamp...What is wrong with it...I will post the answer later..HINT..It is so obvious.

Now that you see this mistake..take a look and try and guess what is wrong with this 1965 stamp..Look at the clock.

OK...The clock on the left is the clock face that is shown on the stamp...It shows I..II..III..IV.

The real clock on our Parliament Building as the right pictures shows is really I..II..III..IIII

How strange. The mistake is on the real clock (which was not duplicated on the stamp)

Lots, if not most, Roman numeral clock faces use IV.
However, lots, if not most, have the numerals based along the inner circle.
And, the clock on the left makes a jumble of VIII-IX.

That is not a mistake on the real clock. Roman usage of IIII was quite common.
Here are some theories about why IIII was used instead of IV.
