Just bought this one (no laid paper ... darn!). I noticed on the right side, middle, a small line. Is this a centering, scribe line? Thanks in advance.

Partime...Nice stamp...I don't see anything mentioned about the line on re-entries.com..Could be a and ink pull, but not likely..Does seem to follow the lines from the oval though..Maybe some one else has more to add..And of course you can also send it to Ralph to see what he says.

Thanks for the comments, Wert. Due to its location and length, I am doubting that it has anything to do with a Re-entry. But, we'll see if anyone else has comments, then off to Ralph as a final task.

Due to it's position and length, I would guess that it was a layout line as we down here in the U.S. refer to those types of markings. Much like the lines on these three 12 cent U.S. banknotes.

I would send it to Ralph to get his thoughts. He has identified a plate crack for me on the 3c large queen (the one not illustrated in Unitrade) before.

You're keeping the poor man busy. He's only a one man show.
