Here is something a stamp dealer could offer a investor ,who is told color errors on British Colony stamps are blue chip investments and to get ahead of the catalog publishers .
I cut a regular S/S in half so the color shows better in this example .

So lettering is lighter on one than the other. That's nothing.

Where was it "MUCH PUBLICIZED"? In a dealer's price list, a stamp magazine, a stamp catalog? Looks like an attempt to fleece collectors.

I bet that is from c. 1977-1980 when stamp vales peaked before crashing. It would have very, very modest value today.

I like the "advertised by another dealer at up to $600"

So if something starts off insanely overpriced and you advertise it at half the insanely overpriced price, he must be golden LOL

The "fantastic" offer came from a large bulk lot which I purchased during a recent public stamp auction .I think SHERMAE is correct from the typewriter tab ,that it is from 1977-1980 time period .I have one or two more of these and will post them later.
