Maverick, I am afraid you do not have the so called "Kroningszegel" of 1898. In the earlier stamp the 1 is printed lower than in the later one. The easiest way to tell what you have is to look at the letters "gulden" They are the same thickness as the letters of "Koninkrijk der Nederlanden" in the "Kroningszegel"'. In the 1899 stamp ( the cheaper one ) the word "gulden" is in a thicker font.
