revenuecollector...You could be absolutely correct..And do I think it is a forgery..95% I do..Just for argument sake, when I was training as a printer, we have a type box as shown below that had all the picas in controlled areas of the box, as you can see from the picture the type setter has a type tray in his hand and is picking up each individual letters (that BTW are exactly .918 inchs long) and placing them into the tray to be locked into the press for a run...Now say a kid took the WRONG font, instead of using "Liberation Serif' he picked up "Symbola serif" for the next run, OR, because they did not have enough picas or the others were worn out and used what was the next closest thing...NOW,to analyse.. whether or not it is a forgery, we do not look at all the inverted stamps..i suggest we look for regular stamps and IF we find a difference in type faces, THEN the stamp becomes genuine..Does that make any sense..?

Yes Cjd...It seems to be perforated 10.9 vertical and 10.9 horz...??

As floortrader pointed out, but found this "T" on a regular stamp on the internet..It is fat to..?

A genuine 73, and consequently C3, should be perf 12.

The overprint was done in a 25-stamp setting, and based on auction descriptions, it seems that all of the settings are known to the experts. If this was mine, I would not feel it was worth submitting, but I believe you can get a definitive answer, if you choose to find out.
