This seems to be an insurance stamp for the occupied Baltics. I've seen a Latvian booklet that had stamps pasted in each month, purportedly to show payment of insurance premiums?



I've also seen earlier stamps in a smaller format for weekly payments. Any additional information would be great.

I think these are pension or annuity revenues. They are not listed in my Erler-Norton volume 7 (German occupation issues), but mine is an old edition (1983).

Just thought to look in Barefoot's Baltic States Revenues (1998, 3rd edition). They are indeed pension insurance revenues for use in the occupied Baltic states. Barefoot lists 10 values of the 'tall' stamps, and 10 values in a horizontal format. He also mentions that Norton lists an additional 'tall' value. Your 3.00 stamp has a cat. Value of 10 pounds.
