I was going through a tote of my grandma's things.

I found a small manila envelope postmarked in 1979 with two 15 cent The Land of the Free, Home of the Brave. The stamps are perforated on all sides.

The woman who mailed it had sent her a copy of her brother's obituary which was laminated as well as his small high school diploma.

Need some guidance on whether this is cover is worth keeping or to just toss it.

Thanks

Can't tell you if the cover has any value. If it doesn't, I can't help but wonder if one of the family/relatives might be interested in getting the high school diploma back?

The diploma belonged to my grandma's brother. His widow, the sender, must have decided that my grandma was the one who deserved to be its caretaker.

I didn't do a very good job posting the info the first time.

Value is in the eye of the beholder, or something like that.
I'd keep it and put a value of millions on it: family history, even relatively recent, is worth a lot (especially after you no longer have it). I'd give it a place of honor in my collection with copious notes.
