I'm very new to this having recently inherited my first collection and i've hit a brick wall trying to identify the below, could anyone point me in the right direction?

Try Taiwan in 1950 - sorry I don't have a Scott number for you, but it was once SG 119 (part of a set ranging from 3 cents to $5)

Tony's correct. It's Republic of China (Taiwan) Scott 1020. From a definitive set of 13.
