I recently found this 10c Albert with the rare "string of pearls" variety. Upon closer look, there is also a 4 ring cancel, starting with number 1 _ . Can any one help me to identify what the 2nd numeral may be? I know some of you out there have special color management software that may help....

I dont know Gilles le timbre...It could be a 2 or a 9..Not enough showing to make a definite ID.

Thanks Wert. Here is another challenge. It looks to me as a Quebec strike (not to confuse with the Quebec students strike...), dated sometimes in ..59?

Gilles le timbre...It is definitely a "9", but the "5" might be a "6"...Hard to say...Robert

The 10-cent Prince Albert appears to have a 4 ring 21 cancelation. Nice example of the "string of pearls" plate flaw.
