India --Jammu And Kashmir -Fake Stamps

Here is a souvenir sheet that can be cut up and the stamps sold as much older material.Part of my on going postings of stuff that can be used by those selling fakes .

I don't know who manufactured these, but they actually reproduce the designs of the so-called "Missing Die" forgeries of the Jammu and Kashmir circulars.

Peterh is quite right: these are bad copies of the old Missing Die forgeries. Here, for example, is a genuine ½ Anna (left) alongside an original Missing Die

Noone who's ever seen a genuine Jammu & Kashmir Circular, or even an original Missing Die for that matter, would be fooled for a moment by these.
