April 23, 1851 saw the release of Canada's first postage stamp...

[This image is from a prominent Canadian auction firm.]

[Title changed from 160th to 164th. Oops.]

Nice..I wonder if Canada Post has slated the idea of bringing out a 160th anniversary stamp to celebrate the event..??

Don't know what you're missing, but I can see that you didn't skip math classes.

My mistake! Should be 164 years.

Can I change the title, or is that a moderator issue?

I was hoping to point out that today is a 'birthday'; the number of years should have also been accurate (darn; that's what you get for doing four things at once and your mind is on something else!).

Happy Birthday to all our northern neighbors! And that is one beautiful stamp, one to be very proud of!

Your beaver stamp has big wide margins that are bigger than most.
