Sorry I didn't post the pics in other post. I'm a bit new to this, so here is the full set SC#658-697. It is a complete matching set of FDC. I purchased it for $728.00.

Hi Bergie,

They are a little tough to see, but you have 22 more of these than I have. It has been noted that the overprint on these items is sometimes faked. But since you have FDC's, I believe they are all real. Nice items.

Sorry for the resolution it is a pic of the original scan. I have not received the covers yet, but should in 1-2 days. I will post better pics when they arrive. I am aware of the forgery issues, but like you pointed out they are FDC's and I have a trusted rapport with the seller. I will also point out that the seller originally asked $1600.00, OBO for them. So I think I did well in that regard. I have a few trusted sellers that I have found to be reliable over the years and look to them for much of my high dollar purchases. Thank you though for the concern and for looking at my covers.

These are very interesting and hard to put together as FDC complete sets. I have read that trying to get matched sets of plate blocks of some KS/NE overprints is nearly impossible.

The best reference on the first day covers of the Kansas-Nebraska overprints is Robert H. Schoen's Counterfeit Kansas-Nebraska overprints on 1922-34 issue and First day covers of the Kansas-Nebraska overprints. It's an APS Handbook available from the American Research Philatelic Library.

Bergie - I know the seller and the source. You should have zero worries with this set. A nice purchase.

Thank you all so much for the input. I consider this set among my most prized. It was on my watch list for several months. I considered many times buying it at the sellers original asking price so when no one jumped on it I was lucky to place the winning bid. And yes Kurt I trust this seller too. I try to stick with a select few and use caution with all others until I establish a rapport.
