Here's the image from the new "Details" May 2015, #5 showing that it is not imperforated, although the on-line image certainly suggests that it is. So the only variety is the gold cancellation on stamp number 5. |

I haven't received the new Stamp Details yet, but looking at the 2 images on the Canada Post website, the regular pane of 5 has 5 colour dots while the framed version has 7 colour dots. My guess is that either one or both are mockups rather than the real thing. |

Yeah. They did that with the Empress of Ireland - a different cancellation (or overprint?) for the boxed collection. There is no indication yet that it is worth any more than the normal sheet.
I just checked the Empress of Ireland sheets. There is no difference in the number of printing dots, nor in the bar code number. There is just the gold FDI cancel in both halves of the sheet. |

On second thought, the two extra colour dots may represent the gold overprinting.
BlackJag: what does Details give for a printing process? And do they state a different one for the framed version? |

Details does not give any additional information on the printing of the framed pane. The image does show 7 colours followed by the letter C. The 7th colour is the gold, but I can't determine what the 6th colour is, other than it appears to be grayish circle with nothing inside of it. |

The item is no longer available (!) so I couldn't recheck the image on the Canada Post site. Using the copy above (from canadaphilatelist) and comparing it to the image posted by sylvain.m, we can see that the two sheets are not the same, - the printing "dots" are different. That is a mystery to me. |

The first one is my framed pane The second is from the standard pane. The dots are the same. |

That's too bad. It's actually a $55.70 frame for an OFDC variation.
Kudos to Kiel (new member) for spotting it, |
