Hi All I have this Japanese stamp, but, cannot find it in Scott's or in my reprint of the 1915 Forbin Revenue Catalogue. I still have a feeling it is a fiscal stamp of some kind, but, not sure what it is. Can anyone identify it, and, if possible, please give an approximate value as well? Thanks a lot Chimo Bujutsu

10y tax stamp from the issue of 1924. Reissued in 1937 on white paper and different watermark.
Somebody with a Shimomura or Furuya catalog will be able to help you with the retail value. |

I just did a quick sales search. If you have the granite paper variety, it looks like it's selling as BIN for $1. |

Thank you khj
I didn't think it was a rare one but was curious just the same.

Hi again I must be losing my touch because I cannot identify these three stamps I think the first one is Bosnia Herzegovina (?), the second one a Bulgarian postage due (?) and the third, a Russian of some type or maybe even Serbia?? Any help would be appreciated. Thank you Chimo Bujutsu |

Here's a shot: 1. The base stamp is Bosnia & Herzegovina from the 1910 Franz Josef Birthday Jubilee issue. With the overprint, I don't know. 2. Bulgaria postage due stamp from 1919 surcharged for use a regular postage stamp in 1924. 3. The overprint refers to Montenegro, but that's all I can determine about this stamp.

Good info Robert.
The stamps in the Scott catalog are:
Yugoslavia #1L7(1918) Bulgaria #182(1924) Montenegro government-in-exile (1921) -- not listed in Scott |

The Montenegro cinderella is mentioned in Michel, but not assigned a catalog number.
It is part of a set of 12: 1,2,5,10,15,20,25,35,50 paras; 1,2,5 perpers |

Scott usually does a good job providing notes in their listings directing users to overprinted and surcharged varieties. In the case of the Yugoslavia stamp, they failed.
