I like the design a lot, but not the colours used for the lettering!

Instead of green for Canada how about white?

You're going to be sorry you asked, wert.

Some of you may be familiar with this first one. It is a concept I came up with a couple of years ago when Canada Post had a contest to design the new mental health stamp. I think this came in at #43 in over 300 entries. I had another which I never put on a stamp layout, maybe I should.

These others I put together for a portfolio to try to get some work out of Canada Post. Nothing.

The sunflower image I created for my wedding invite, eons ago!

Interesting tread Robert! Several nice designs posted, it seems to me you both have studied Canadian stamp design in detail, I could have been fooled anytime! I would like to say Canada offers some really beautiful stamps

Though offtopic in this 'Canadian stamps' forum, I still take the chance off posting my own re-design off my own avatar.(Torungen Lighthouse outside Arendal, Norway).

I'm no engraver...so found no way to simulate the engraving method normally used on most Norwegian stamps, however the layout is not too far off.

Looking forward to see more 'fantasy' stamps!

Robert - Thanks!
I believe it was jimjamtwo that suggested changing colours on your design - though I agree it's looking even better now! Expecting to find your stamp in the catalog any time soon
