Floortrader, interesting stamps, and make me a bit homesick. In 1944 I was a young lad living in the Northern part of the Netherlands. The "stamps" you show commemmorate the 50 year anniversary of the liberation of the Southern provinces of the Netherlands. The folks in the Northern part still had to endure the famous "hunger winter" of 1944-1945, and did not get liberated until May of 1945! Thank you for showing these cinderellas!
