Noticed that the above referenced album has no spots for Scott #102-111. Acquired an unused 102 and apparently have no place to put it in this album. Does anyone have this album and happen to know the reason why?

Thanks.

Further to my question above, after owning this album for about a year, I am noticing that the pages are curling a bit, with the result that some of the stamps mounted at the tops and bottoms of certain pages are beginning to curl (fortunately nothing too valuable). Anyone else having this problem? I have considered the Schaubek hingeless but I am concerned about the split back mounts particularly with respect to unused stamps. Are there any other hingeless albums with the top loading mounts like Mystic that also have Scott #s printed?

Thanks again.

There's a very extensive discussion about the merits and characteristics of various US printed albums here

Personally, I'd buy blank Lighthouse pages and Hawid mounts and organise the pages myself - much more satisfying' and you aren't subject to the decisions of an album manufacturer.

Does anyone else have this Mystic album who could share their experience? Thanks again.

I have previously posted on here about my experiences with this album. I bought part one from Mystic shortly after release- had to send back the pages- they were awful. Warped and 'rippled' from application of the mounts. They sent replacement pages just as bad, then again by which time I figured that was the norm for this product and cancelled. I think it is something about them affixing the mounts- whoever they have doing this seems to use a lot more moisture than is needed, warping the pages. Your pages sound to have probably been ok at first then the curling started in. I really wonder if this product has some major issues- they may need to consider using self adhesive mounts in production.
