So I just got 2 albums for the UN stamps, and a ton of MNH stamps.
As I understand, the US-UN began in 1951, which my 2009 Scott Vol. 1 agrees with. however it does not record any issues after UN 947a in 2007. There is a year missing, at least!
948 was issued January of 2008. Why is it not listed?
So US in 1951
Geneva in 1968
Vienna in 1979
All still printing.
Are there any known large Gaps?

A couple of points:

1. The Scott catalog is released in the year PRECEDING the catalog year.
2. There is usually ~6 month gap from catalog compilation to final editing/layout to printing to delivery to customer.
3. UN doesn't issue that many commemoratives, so typically the final commemorative issue of the year is in October, and a new commemorative doesn't come out until January/February.

That's why your 2009 catalog has the final listing at UN-NY #947. The next stamp is #948(27Jan2008) and that won't appear until the 2010 Scott catalog. I don't have the 2009 Scott US Specialized, but #948 probably does appear in there since the US Specialized is released 6 months after Volume 1.

Is there a place to get a mount set for the 1951 to 69 years. I have an older scott album, the green one with a curved spine. The other one is a hingles Scott with all the mounts in it. So I just need the first 30 years.
I've looked in several places, so Im hoping someone has done this already.
