I recently reactivated my collecting of Canadian stamps in my retirement. I decided to move from an MNH philosophy I adopted back in the late 1970s when I first got interested as an adult collector to a used only approach. The Harris album I bought back then left a good deal to be desired so I started shopping for a replacement. After falling out of my chair when I saw the prices being commanded today I started searching for an alternative that would fit may budget.

I settled on Stamp Paraphenalia's full color album pages and I'm pleased so far. So I'm wondering if we have any other users who would like to share their experiences?

Terry

I have used these albums in the past, mostly their US pages. They are attractive and well done. One thing I found that bugged me was that the frame lines used for the stamp spaces never matched the mounts I could get. There was always a frame line peeking out below or on the sides. That wouldn't be an issue if clear mounts were used, I suppose. I suspect the publisher uses 'AlbumGen' to produce the pages because they look very similar to some I tried to create. I had the same problem when importing stamp images from 'EZ Stamp' to use on pages. A lot were not sized correctly. I also was sort of bugged at how the early US pages were so specialized in some areas and not in others. The pages are not punched and are set up to use with tabbed protectors. Try filling an album with 100 pages in protectors- it gets heavy very quickly.

I have a set of their Plate Block pages in several binders that I have 3 ring punched up to 1980 or so. I may be interested in disposing of them if anyone is interested- just message me.
