I have an RE56 with a right and proper cancel dated of 13 June 1918, now then the company name is not clear to me.
Condition: Upper right corner two staple holes or maybe pin holes with a crease. Reverse side somebody and I really do not understand why a person would do this, has penciled in a couple small numbers!
What I want in trade for this RE56 is any of the 1898 Series Revenue Stamps with SON Clear Readable Complete Cancels. Such as either full name of company, or initials, date, and location (city and state).
If you are interested, let me know what you have (how many different ones, that would be different cancels etc.), I do not expect you to scan them all.
I have never in over 60 years of stamp collecting sold a single stamp, but I do trade once in a while.
I'm not a for profit stamp collector, more interested in stamp cancels and the interesting research of these cancels.
So let me know what you have, and if the trade sounds good to me then we have a deal, I let you know one way or another!
