I purchased two booklets of the Weather Wonders stamps issued yesterday.

In one of the two booklets, only one of the two Hoar Frost stamps is misaligned. The traffic lights were not misaligned.

The blue ink is shifted upwards from left to right and noticeable in the upper right corner of the stamp. A blue wedge appears above the stamp's image in the white upper margin and "ADA" of "CANADA" is blue instead of being white.

The recent "Details" magazine indicates, in the french version that the uncut press sheets printing is limited to 1000. I did place an advanced order for 2 of them, just to find out later that the Canada Post web site shows a revised printing of 5000. I find this practice a bit questionable, as they seem to encourage philatelist to buy the very limited number of sheets (as they did for the recent flag stamp) and then go on and print 5x more. A bit deceiving for those who purchased more than one based on misrepresentation. \Canada Post need to be a bit more responsible about their stamp program and advertizing (can I call that false advertizing??)
Nevertheless, I guess I can use my extra uncut sheet as postage...

When the "Snowbirds" stamps were issued with a limited edition 1,000 uncut press sheets, I was told they were sold out and my standing order for one could not be filled.

I wrote, as did a neighbour, demanding that all sanding orders be filled and that future limited issues take into consideration the number required to fill all standing orders.

Both my neighbour and I received our uncut press sheets. We'll never know if Canada Post printed more or simply filled our orders from a "hold back" inventory.

While promoting a limited issue of 1,000, that is clearly fraudulent and deceptive behaviour by Canada Post increasing the supply to 5,000.

I closer look at Details (French version) shows that on page 7 it does indicate a quantity of 5,000 uncut press sheets.

The English version shows 5,000 on both page 2 and page 7.

Seems only the image on page 2 of the French Details has the incorrect quantity of 1,000 shown.

The bi-lingual version of Details, available at post offices, shows 5,000 in both places on the English side and the same 1,000 mistake (pg. 2) and 5,000 correct (pg. 7) amount on the French side.

Thanks editor. One more example of Canada Post sloppyness I guess...
