Has anyone read The Definitive Postage Stamps Of Canada (1953-2010) An Analytical Approach (in 5 volumes) by Joseph Monteiro?

These look like a potentially interesting series of books. I have never heard of them before, which is strange sine most of them have been around for 6 years. They appear to be self-published, so this may be why they have never been publicised or received any kind of serious distribution. Unfortunately, the previews are not very informative.

Let us know if you order any of them. I, for one, would be interested to know more.

The books seem quite nice but very pricey. But then there are alot of collectors out there who love the Modern Errors. I see lots of these Modern Error stamps selling for big bucks at auction regularly.

I'm sure that these books would be beneficial to those collectors. I know very little about those stamps so probably be a good read for me. But I don't think I'd go out and spend $100 on one myself.

I would buy a $100 book on my little niche collecting area though.

I would like to eventually get to buy at least volume I when I am able to afford it since my stamp budget these days is not that great.
