wert, this is a clipping from a postal card from either 1883 or 1890. It could be from any number of cards, because they were inscribed in different languages, depending on where in the Habsburg Empire they were used. The 1883 postal cards had no border printing, and the 1890 cards did have a printed border. This clipping is too closely cut on the top and right to show the border, but the 1885 cancel tells you it is the earlier version. So, there were 8 different cards (8 different language inscriptions) which were Michel #s P43-P50. The Ruthenian, Slovenian, Illyerian, and Rumanian language cards carry various premiums as compared to the more common German, Bohemian, Italian, or Polish. Cut squares are never valued by Michel.
