Hi all

Here is a QV Jamaica stamp, Scott #13.

Please note that the stamp does NOT have a thin. I checked and double checked to make sure.

It appears that the lines in the queen's face stops dead half way across. Can anyone tell me if this is a 'worn plate' variety?

Thanks for any help

The resolution of the image is too low to really see anything. Perhaps you can rescan at 300 dpi or higher.

Agreed, it isn't the best image.

Here is another try. This is the best my scanner etc is capable of doing. Hope this is better?

Thanks. As I did state earlier, this is the best my personal scanner can do.

On my computer Bujutsu's image looks sharper then Floortrader's??? Like someone once said: " computers are evil! ".
And it does not really look like a scuff mark, more like a printer's drop-out, if that is a correct word.

Thanks for that Peter

I wasn't really sure about the 'scuff' mark either.

It is an interesting oddity just the same.
