This is now, the earliest Hawaii cover I have. I like the nice clean cancel. The handwriting is good looking also. For the price of a cup of coffee...it's a good addition.
I don't have the cover in hand yet. I'm assuming the stamp is Scott #504.

Very nice destination on that. If I had it in my little retail stock it would be $50-$75. The basic Honolulu flag is not scarce (at least on postcard) but the destination is what makes it!

Well, there are 13 of them. What might that signify?

I wonder what the American flag looked like between 1777 to 1795?

I would think that this version of 13 stars might have been much easier to portray on a small cancelling device than the 45 stars that were on the American flag between 1896 to 1908.

I finally pulled this cover out of it's packaging. I find the stamp to be nicely centered. Top left corner perf is short. But a pretty nice, common stamp.
