Hi.
I am thinking of printing out stamp pages for myself
and was wondering what stock paper others use.

I have printed on ordinary printer paper and used
mounts to insert my stamps in, but I find the paper
a bit flimsy.

Any help would be appriciated.

In European weight terms, I've found that 100gsm or above is fine with mounts - no need to hit Lighthouse's 170 gsm level. I buy a ream (500 sheets) via Amazon.

If you're running off country pages from the web, don't spend any money until you've checked out the material that's available for nothing:

The France Timbres site is really good for European pages.

I purchased album pages on ebay for my Canada collection and chose 110 lb. card stock. I'm very happy with it.

I made a pass at designing my own using Album Easy but put that aside because of the time it would take. Had I gone through with it, however, it was my intention to have the pages printed at Office Max on card stock for the durability.

Thank you for some very interesting food for thought.

I will get a selection of different weights and see
what I think.

I use EzStamp software and if I buy AlbumGen 2 it will
intergrate my stamps, that then can be sent to AlbumGen
for printing.

Many thanks again.

I too use 110lb acid free card stock. I like the thicker paper.
