Has anyone done their own pages to supplement those in a Lighthouse album? If so what type font and size did you find the best match for this?

I just bought part one of their US pages- need to make some pages to accommodate coil singles and also one for the White plains sheet- mine has some partial perf separation and I prefer not to risk moving it into another mount- it is already in one that I could transfer easily.

The main heading with the name of the country uses the font, Optima, 24 pt.

The balance of the typography appears to be Helvetia Neue and the size varies.
For subheading I use a bold at 11 pts and the details for each item, I use a sizing at 8 pts.

Regardless, I would suggest you experiment and print off test pages on cheap paper.

This page is a sample, so you can judge my success for yourself.

Pls also remember to size the paper and margins correctly.

Hope this helps,

Larry

The balance of the text on the page is Helvetica Neue.

Here's a sample of a Lighthouse page, and a sample of a page I generated with my Scribus plug-in in an attempt to duplicate the Lighthouse style. The font I used is Helvetica Neue Medium.

Impressive, and not at Lighthouse prices!

I don't suppose your researches have turned up the font that Lghthouse uses on its spine titles - that would help give a little more uniformity to my collection.

Thanks, all! I will experiment a bit before deciding. I do have a supply of totally blank Lighthouse pages I can use.
