Can anyone help me identify the Lincoln 4c? Now that I have scanned and improved it, it looks like maybe Beresford, SD???? My concern is that the lettering doesn't look quite tall enough to me to be a type 819 (looks more like a 729 with 2.5mm letters, instead of an 819 with 3mm). But that might just be because it's such a bad copy?

And the other one seems to say "Corrington, ND", but there is no such precancel town anywhere in the US. Is this a fake?

My guesses: Beresford SD 819 [vinyls can have distorted sizes]
Corrington - a good question, I will check with some experts :)

An error for Carrington ND almost certainly. My mother was born and raised there.

yes, Phil Cayford also got back to me with that info. The 853 device from Carrington has all 10 impressions spelled that way, so it is an error, but a common one cv 0.20.
