Very nice page, but I guess I am not awake yet! What does Carolyn Powell have to do with all this? Was she married to one of the two fellows?

Carolyn Turpin Powell was married to James Henry Rumbough on December 12, 1854.

Not to be too critical of the album page, which is very nice as it stands, for clarity the connection of husband and wife either in name or date of marriage should have been included in the text.

Likewise, to use 21st century abbreviations in describing States such as "TN" is putting new with the old. The page should be consistent and use the old "Tenn." abbreviation. Also, the use of "TN" in the Carolyn Turpin Powell paragraph adds a period (which is incorrect).

Finally, the reference to the location is noted as "Greenville" in the title, which is consistent with the address shown on the cover; but the actual name is "Greeneville" which is noted in the Carolyn Turpin Powell paragraph.

I agree with Wt1, but the name of the town's Post Office, at the time of mailing seemed to have been Grenville? Or was that a mistake?

Guess I'm the one who wasn't awake when I wrote up the page.
Yes, it should have been Greeneville, with an "e".
Carolyn was the wife of James Rumbough.
The addressee was John Kilby and I just added info about him.
Yes, wt1 it is bad style to mix the new with the old.
All in all, the cover deserved a more considered presentation. Thanks for the corrections and comments.
