Heironymus: you're opinion is unwanted and unhelpful, thanks to all that responded positively.

Seems like a Stamp group would have more suggestions than to scan pics, look at all those books! lol

I don't think I have enough posts to auction here, correct?

You chastised us for not giving more detailed response when you had provided nothing at all upon which to base such a response. And you hinted that you really wished you could just put it up for auction on SCF but can't because of insufficient posts. Sure made it look like you only cared about quick disposal.

I'm sorry my posts are not "wanted" by you. They merely pointed out the truth: you were a tad impatient and illmannered.

Jenny2U specified exactly what you need to do if you want sound advice. Otherwise all you will get and are getting is "your father might have had some good stuff."

Which is true. Emphasis on the "might have."

I see that the OP already started a thread more than a month ago

https://www.stampcommunity.org/topi...44106#384054

In that thread he did post scans of pages from the US album. He was told they contained nothing of value. (Several people pointed out a couple of pre-cancels that were a bit interesting but that doesn't alter the basic assessment: a beginners' collection worth a few dollars.)

So why does he post a couple of pictures of the outside of a bunch of albums today? Does he think that he will get a different, happier answer based on less information than he already supplied?

I suppose the answers to that first thread were "unwanted."
