I discover this stamp in my grandfather's album. As it is imperf I think it is a forgery. But maybe not ? Or maybe a proof ?
What do you think ?

At the very bottom there is a label that says National Bank Note Company New York. It must be very sharp and clear for this to have a chance to be genuine. Also these stamps were embossed, which also must be obvious from the reverse.

All the perforations have been trimmed from this stamp as well.

I am a newspaper stamp specialist. This is not a genuine stamp. Sorry. I believe it is a Type IVB forgery.
