I've been itching for a fairly simple worldwide stamp album just to put my worldwide stamps in - not necessarily to actively pursue a worldwide collection.

So, I bid on and won a very nice Citation album, with pages up to 1966. I figured it would keep me busy for a while and I only paid like $15.

Then I got lured - LURED I tell you - into a bidding war over a two-volume Harris Standard World Stamp Album. Pages I think up until 1977. Won it after incredibly vicious bidding in my local stamp club and got them for $10.

Of course now I have more album than I know what to do with but all three a bit big to hide from my wife.

Good prices on those albums - use them well.

As far as hiding them from the Mrs. I gave up on such things, I always get caught.

I just "Pay the Piper" when the items arrive in the mail and then tell her to buy herself some shoes.

That usually smooths things over.
