I hear that having a complete stamp set on postal covers are worth more money? Is that true? If so, would anyone know if this is a complete set? Any help will be appreciated.

Yes, it appears to be a full set - see the below link for more information...

Not sure whether a whole set upon a cover can command a greater CV on this item, but some do if legitimately postally used.

Most such complete sets on cover are contrived for the philatelic market (though some of these themselves can command a decent CV).

The cover is what we call "philatelic" - i.e. it is not postally used - and IMHO - it has less value than one that has gone through the mails. Having said that, if you have a cover that just happened to have a set, went through the mails and was not cacheted - you'd have something valuable.

The term "philatelic cover"is not limited to un-addressed covers such as this, but also covers that did go through the mails but were created for collectors rather than just to send a message. It is sometimes hard to determine whether a cover is "philatelic" or not and different people had different definitions.

But an unadddressed cover would certainly be "philatelic", as would covers with a full set and/or grossly overfranked.

Here's an example of a philatelic cover I wouldn't mind owning (image courtesy of Siegel Auction Galleries).

One can dream.

And such a cover would bring me to Xanadu where I would drink the Milk of Paradise.

Yes, a complete set on cover is worth more than a partial set or individual stamps on cover, but this is a relative value. Modern Indonesian stamps do not have much commercial value, just like modern stamps from most every other country. First Day Covers such as yours sell on ebay for anywhere between $1 and $7 depending on whether there is a collector who wants that particular one for their collection. It also depends on the condition and if it is anything other than perfect as the day it was first made then the value drops sharply. You should go on ebay and study the selling prices for a few weeks to get a good idea of prices. Be sure to look only at completed auctions where the item actually sold. Those will show up with GREEN font. You should also pay attention to how many items do not sell. This is for two reasons - first, there are very few collectors interested in buying modern Indonesian stamps, and second, most sellers put starting prices that are far above what prices those few people are willing to pay. The more valuable stamps, covers, and stampless covers from Indonesia are the very old ones. In general, the most valuable are the stampless ones from the 1800s and earlier, though there are some from the early 1900s that can be valuable as well.
