Seller universal.business is running some of the most egregiously faked U.S. revenues I have ever seen. My message to him was greated with a generic "We'll take a look at it" and of course nothing was done.

It seems like he has built up most of his feedback from selling stamps for $0.01 + $20.00 shipping. How anyone would ever buy these stamps, which for the most part catalog less than $1.00, is beyond me. I question whether any of those transactions actually took place.

I thought perhaps the shipping costs within Australia were much cheaper (as in free) so people would have considered them worth a penny, but when I change my location to Australia, they still show up as $20 shipping per stamp.

His current listings (via U.S. ebay):

All of the following are trimmed fakes:

Not trimmed, but only an idiot would ever buy a vemilion error without a cert.

Examples of the sold items from whence he has built feedback, none of them worth even a fraction of the shipping costs.

It is safe enough to buy expensive US stamps on ebay if you stick with dealers who are American Stamp Dealer Association (ASDA) members or who are American Philatelic Society (APS) Dealer Members. Both groups will hold members accountable if stamps are misidentified or improperly described as to condition. Buying collections can be even more hazardous unless you have the ability to spot damaged, repaired or altered stamps and forgeries. Some collections in the marketplace are made up collections loaded with gotchas.

While it is possible to buy lower priced stamps on ebay, the Top Rated Seller program tracking requirement forces sellers to choose between selling quantities of less expensive stamps and pay higher commissions or sell only more expensive stamps where paying for tracked shipping to earn lower final value fees is economically feasible. This makes it more difficult to buy lower priced stamps from the best dealers.

Now a new seller with a similar name "international.business" supposedly located in the U.S., is offering the same bad fakes using the same listing style. Obscene scammer.
