Can you believe it! Another 4 cards with elusive autographs.  That will add another $500 to my stamp budget this year! (Unless, of course, I'm lucky and they are in my pre-order. |

Neat..Met Mr.Bauer a few years ago and he is such a nice guy...got a hockey card signed by him for my boy...I am not much on post 1940 Canada stamps, but will probably make an exception here.

I read somewhere awhile back that Dryden will only autograph if he can personalize the item eg. "To Sak" because he feels people are profiting from his autograph so by personalizing it, there is a smaller resale market |

I collect Hockey Autographs and have been watching the Leafs play since about 1961-62 when I was a kid. I watched the Leafs win those Four Stanley Cups in the 1960's. I went to see Johnny Bower years ago at the casino in Ajax when it first opened. He was there with Curtis Joseph during a promotion for the opening. I was the only one wearing a Leaf Jersey so Johnny picked up on that right a way and spent an extra minute with me and took an extra pic. He was such a nice and polite person and he signed a hockey stick that I have with several older Leaf signatures. It's always quite an exciting event seeing such celebrities !  |

Hockey players are always the nicest overall from the 4 major sports. I've never met an unfriendly hockey player
As for personalizing autographs so they can't profit, Bobby Orr does the same thing. I have 3 or 4 "To Mike - Bobby Orr" autographs.
Played in a golf tournament with him several years ago and he's gotta be the must humble, low-keyed superstar from any walk of life I've ever met.

jimjung...Nice picture..Met him myself..A very nice person..Hey, if you collect hockey card autographs, did you get the 6 card set that Zellers put out in the 90's..??
I think they only produced 2000..Got them for my boy.

This is so obvious on the cover of the latest "Details" magazine, that I just had to blow up the stamp and crop it. The photo on the cover clearly shows the left eye centred in the socket. His right eye is looking directly at the incoming puck. But what is his left eye looking at? Was this an artist's cut and paste of two photos?  |
