Sad news from one of our most valuable friend.
Ralph, our thoughts are with you and family in these though times. Glad to hear that the site will remain available. This is one of the best resources available for 1000's of us, Canadian philatelists.

Very, very sad and hope that Ralph will be back when he is able. A very good reminder to everyone that stamp collecting is fun and enjoyable, but only one small facet of our lives.

Ah Ralph...Sorry to hear about this terrible turn of events...My prayers are with you and all concerned..Please devote your time and effort with your family first..Return when time is more appropriate for you.

We are scheduled to Honor Ralph this year at the PSSC Annual Banquet. Thank you for your kind words and I will pass on your kind thoughts to him.

I have known Ralph for about ten years and I feel he has changed the scope of collecting Canadian stamps in that time and is a driving force in collecting Re-entries and Varieties. That is an amazing achievement in such a short time. When you compare old Unitrade catalogs with the current ones, there is a surprising difference in the area of re-entries.

I agree I have known Ralph since the mid 80's when I joined BNAPS to become a member of the Re-entry Study Group. I used to send him stamps to look at via mail, as the internet we have today didn't exist then, and he would send them back to me with a nice letter telling me what he thought about the various stamps I found. He helped me learn a great deal about re-entries and flaws. His web site is a terrific resource and a great benefit to collectors of re-entries. I wish him and family all the best. They are in my prayers.
