A very beautiful 1918 US Postal Cover with YMCA Letterhead, which includes 3 individuals letters that are all in great condition. During WWI, the YMCA was a big part of aiding troops with shelter and food. The cancelation stamp is very clear. The postage stamp was from the US Naval Base in Pelham Bay NY during WWI, which was a training facility for the US NAVY. Its most likely these letters to thank the families or people who had aided them during WWI. It is a great piece of Military Ephemera, WWI History, or US NAVAL Postal Covers.

If anyone would like to share any additional information on this postal cover I would welcome any feedback since I am new at collecting postal covers.

Enjoy and I look forward to any feedback.

It might be interesting to note that these letters were mailed before the Meuse-Argonne Offensives, the greatest American battle of the World War. Matters were far from decided even as late as early September.

Do you think you might scan the stamp(s) alone? It would be fun to see which issue and/or type they are.

An interesting history on the Pelham (Bay) Naval Station may be found here:

As KGB mentions, the war was not decided by that date, but the end of war was only two months away (November 11, 1918). There war was also losing steam because of the great flu pandemic was begining to ravage both sides in Europe as well as the US.

YMCA covers are a great way to collect WW 1 philatellic history since as you say the YMCA was all over the place in Europe and the US providing comfort to soldiers whether it was providing free stationery to write home, coffee and donuts, or just a friendly ear to listen. The other very large organization doing these same things was the Red Cross and you can focus on collecting war covers on Red Cross provided stationery, or even collect both.
