Late 20th Century

I became interested in my local area postal history about 1975. Like most collectors I searched for the "OLDER" examples and forgot about contemporary examples. Now, as I begin to really organize my collection, I'm discovering that I really don't have much from 1960 onwards. And most dealers don't have this type of material in stock, because it's too recent.

Also, most of the research being done is not concerned with later 20th century, but 1950 backwards.

Any one else finding the same situation with their postal history collections?

other than people looking for odd type cancels most people who want covers from 60 onwards just collect fist day covers and plenty are available
