While sorting through a pile of Great Britain I began to notice that numerous issues seems to have odd "circles" and "squares" seemingly imprinted upon the face of the stamps themselves.
See the below Machin as an example of what I mean...
Mind you these are note solely found on Machins, but on various issues.
Can anyone here at this fine Forum enlighten me on this curiosity?
