does anyone know what has happened to the web site worldstampalbum.com? has it gone for good or is this just a temporary issue?

I can get into the Welcome letter by DR. Cheng but not the main site get this error today!


Server Error in '/' Application.
A network-related or instance-specific error occurred while establishing a connection to SQL Server. The server was not found or was not accessible. Verify that the instance name is correct and that SQL Server is configured to allow remote connections. (provider: Named Pipes Provider, error: 40 - Could not open a connection to SQL Server)

Web sites which incorporate SQL databases are usually using two separate servers; one for the html or web pages and one that is used for serving up the database itself. (I have used some that were in different countries.) Obviously they have an issue with their SQL server but the web site is able to display web pages which do not use the database.

I've downloaded some of the collections from the site, & I've just checked some of the direct links to the pix I've kept & they all work.

Thanks for the information I will keep trying and hope someone gets around to fixing. I am not even sure they know its an issue but have no way of letting the doctor and his wife know
